On June 14th, World Blood Donor Day will be celebrated. On this occasion, the Blood Transfusion Center will hold a marathon at the Málaga City Hall, with over 600 donations expected, making it one of the most important campaigns of the year.
Mi Colchón company wants to collaborate with this cause, and for this reason, it will give all its employees one hour off so they can go to donate blood at the Málaga City Hall.
With this action, the aim is to raise awareness among other business owners, so they adopt the same measure and achieve two objectives: increase the number of donations and draw citizens’ attention to blood donation, as it is precisely during the summer months when donation turnout is lowest.
The more than 25 employees of Mi Colchón company will take turns throughout the morning to approach the City Hall and make their blood donation. To achieve a greater impact and move other consciences, this will be commented on through their own social networks.
