How does the dog rest?
A study reveals that the distribution of postures reflects one hour a day spent sitting compared to 16 spent in the different lying postures. In general, a dog spends 50% of the time awake and 50% sleeping. Dogs display a variety of resting behaviors, including sitting, lying down, staying alert, slow-wave sleep, and REM (rapid eye movement) sleep.

The place Where a dog prefers to rest varies greatly with the individual and with his way of life. Normally, and when the owner is at home, the dog prefers to rest next to him, for this it is recommended that he has a specific cushion for this purpose. 1.De side: It is a calm and rested position. It means that they are very comfortable with their surroundings, self-confident and do not need much attention. Dogs that sleep in this position tend to be happy and loyal.
2. The fox curled up: The coiled position is probably the most common. When curled up, your dog is conserving the body’s natural heat and protecting his limbs, face, throat, and vital organs. Dogs that sleep in this position are friendly, funny and have a very good natural disposition.
3. The dog ‘Superman’: With their 4 limbs stretched out and their heads on the ground, they look as if they are flying through the air. This position makes it easier for dogs to get up and move around, as soon as you call them, or as soon as they wake up. Dogs that sleep in this position are very energetic and easily motivated.
4. Crazy legs: This posture means that they are very confident and confident in themselves, and with the environment of their home. Furry dogs that use this position tend to be quite calm and independent.
5. Tummy down: Animals that sleep in this position may not be as relaxed, since their muscles are too tense to be able to enter the REM phase of sleep. They may be the most energetic and adventurous, although those who lie on their belly are usually friendly, but somewhat shy.
6. Fainting: Many of those who sleep outdoors opt for this position. They lie on their backs so they can help them cool down as quickly as possible. Most of the time, dogs that use a lot of energy throughout the day, or that are very hot, sleep in that position. And the cat, how does it sleep and what does it mean?
Unlike dogs, cats use many more positions for resting and sleeping and combine them as they see fit. Feline language is more complex and subtle, with at least 25 distinct visual cues used in 16 combinations. They emit behaviors and feelings through the head, tail, eyes, ears, whiskers, mouth, meowing, purring, and rubbing.
The bones and organs of cats are structured exactly like those of other mammals. But their bodies have evolved to be much more flexible than most, and they take advantage of it. That is why it is common to see our felines in very complicated, fun and original postures. Some of these are:
1. Huddled but in remote places: In general, the most common of the postures, a little curled up, if they are raised with a leg that falls off.

6.With the head turned: This strange posture, which seems totally uncomfortable, seems to delight them, and they imply that they are very comfortable, it seems that they are going to dislocate their heads. Sometimes they are so comfortable that they have an open eye or a little tongue sticking out.
