5 mistakes you make when you get up every morning

The alarm clock rings and you have to start How do you normally do it? Do you quickly get out of bed, take a shower, eat something, get dressed, and go outside? There are many mistakes we make when we wake up in the morning, details that, believe it or not, greatly affect your health.

We invite you to learn about them below. I’m sure the information will interest you.

  1. Don’t get out of bed quickly! Always calm

We tend to have two bad habits. The first is to program a shrill sound on our alarm clock to wake us up, and the second, to get out of bed immediately.

You should bear in mind that we have spent between 6 and 8 hours in a horizontal position and that, therefore, our postural axis must gradually assume a new position.

  • We will wake up calmly, as if it were a relaxation ritual.
  • Set your alarm clock 10 minutes earlier than usual and choose some relaxing music. Never put the classic “beep-beep-beep.”
  • The first thing you should do is sit up and sit up in bed, and then breathe deeply for two minutes.
  • Do a few small stretches with your arms. Join your hands and stretch your arms over your head, then repeat the same left and right.
  • Now turn your neck little by little making circular movements. Calmly.
  • Take a breath again, and get up. You’re ready to go!
  1. Leaving home without breakfast: Big mistake!

You have to groom the kids, get them to school, and get to work on time. Preparing lunches, bathing, getting dressed, taking your pet out… It’s a lot of things! And sometimes, we even worry about others leaving the house well-fed and neglect ourselves. It’s a mistake!

  • Wake up earlier to have time. It is important to wake up calmly in the morning and have enough time to have breakfast in a relaxed way.
  • There are many people who the first thing they do is drink a good cup of coffee, and nothing else. Another mistake. The ideal is to start with a glass of warm water with lemon, and then wait between 15 and 20 minutes to continue your breakfast. You can take the opportunity, for example, to take a shower. After this, you can drink that delicious coffee, accompanied, of course, with some fiber, some protein and some fruit. In this way, we leave home with the necessary nutrients and with a lot of energy.
  1. As soon as you open your eyes, look at your mobile phone

Calmly, you have all day for it! The best thing to do is to wake up relaxed, away from all those technologies.

Get up, take a shower, and have breakfast in front of a window, making sure it gives you some air. It is better that in those first moments of the day we are away from the electromagnetic waves emitted by these devices.

  1. Showering in hot water

We love hot water, but it’s not always the right thing to do, especially in the mornings. At this first moment of the day we need to be active and, for this, it will always be better that the water is not at very high temperatures. Ideally, for example, you should start with warm water and finish with a cold stream, especially on your legs.

Directing cold water to the calves will prevent them from feeling swollen or heavy, it will also reactivate the feet, making sure they are ready for a day’s work. Shall we try tomorrow? You’ll see how good you feel!

  1. Leaving home in a bad mood

A long day of work awaits us, we get out of each one quickly and we have thousands of things to do: “Poof, how tired, I don’t know how I’m going to get to the end of the day!”. This is a very common phrase that we either say to ourselves, or we hear from others.

Negative thoughts put doors to our well-being, they take away our quality of life almost without us realizing it. We do things unwillingly and stop valuing the important things. Try it tomorrow. Leave home with a different attitude, try to “install” the following ideas in your brain:

  • Today things are going to go well for me, I’m sure it’s a good day.
  • I’m going to try to enjoy everything I do and what happens to me. I’m going to go out relaxed, I’m going to take a walk to work looking at everything around me: the people, the shop windows, the parks.
  • I’m going to see the bright side of my coworkers and my bosses.
  • I’m going to improve myself at work. The most important thing is that I feel proud of myself.
  • When my day is over, I’m going to treat myself a little. Something simple: I’ll have a coffee in that beautiful coffee shop or take a walk in that park. Or I may call that person I haven’t seen in a while.

As you can see, there are many mistakes that we usually make when we get up in the morning. Elementary aspects that, in some way, take away a little health every day. So, remember: Our quality of life is built on very simple things and good optimism. Do we put it into practice?
