If your living room is rather classic, opting for an ultra-modern sofa would be a little out of tune. When choosing the colour, you can choose either to maintain the chromatic range of the space or to break with it to give all the prominence to our new sofa.
Pay attention to the color of walls, doors, furniture, and flooring. If you have light tones, fabric sofas with dark colors contrast very well providing elegance and strength. Neutral colors go with everything.
3. Plain or printed? You may think that a patterned sofa can tire you out in the long run, but the truth is that it can give an extra personality and charisma to your living room. In this case you should pay attention to curtains and walls to create some harmony.
If you don’t dare to use a printed entire sofa, you can choose to upholster it with small geometries or somewhat more discreet figures.
An advantage of plain fabric sofas is a wide range of colors to choose from and you can even make combinations.
4. Do you have children or pets? In these cases, it is best to opt for a patterned sofa or a dark color, which are the ones that hide stains the most. Also in these cases, it is interesting that the sofa is upholstered in leather, since neither pet hair nor stains adhere to the skin.
If you like color at home, it is best to add it through the cushions, for example. With textiles, you have total freedom to add the colors you like the most. You can even vary the colors of the cushions depending on the time of year.
